I’m so glad to have this opportunity to join you. I am an elementary school librarian in New York City. I have to say that this blogging assignment will be an experience in adjustment for me. I’m not at all accustomed to informal writing. I lost count of how many times I deleted everything to start over. So, I guess I will post more of a biography once I figure out how to relax.

Hi,
I found the informal writing hard at first, too. That’s what kept me from blogging for so long. I finally decided to just go for it and write. It seemed to work. I just kind of let the words flow. I was worried it would be dull or, worse, stupid, but I’ve received positive feedback from strangers, so I guess it wasn’t that bad. Just try to relax, and remember, you can always hit the delete key if you decide you don’t like it.
You’re already off to a good start with the name of your blog. I love it!
